Joppatowne Rec. Soccer Program Philosophy:

The development of a soccer player is a lengthy process in which the player's progress gradually progresses from a simple to a more complex involvement in the game. This progression requires proper guidance and direction from quality, knowledgeable coaches. This process cannot be rushed, but players should always compete at a level that is both challenging and demanding.

The JRS Soccer Program is for ages 3-18. JRS participates in the Eastern Area Soccer League (EASL) for both the Fall and Spring Soccer Seasons, except for our Under 6 Division, which is an IN-HOUSE Program. JRS uses the USSF Age Matrix to determine eligibility for each division.

Under 6/Clinic In-House Program: The JRS Under 6/Clinic Program is formatted to prepare new soccer players for league play. Games are 4v4 or 5v5 and are set up to be instructional games with Coaches on the field guiding the players while they play. Our focus for this league is building a love for the game of soccer, teaching players the fundamentals, and HAVING FUN!!!
