JRC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and not a part of the local county or state government.  The Joppatowne Recreation Council Inc., JRC, is a separate entity from Harford County Parks & Recreation, HCP&R.

Harford County Parks & Recreation works in conjunction with JRC to provide us field usage, gym space, and school time. We serve the Joppatowne and surrounding communities in Harford County, Maryland.

Our council was formed to serve the community by providing sports, social, and recreational activities for both children and adults. The council members are strictly volunteers.
